WINE FESTIVAL COMING TO WILLIAMSON COUNTY FAIR

Attention wine lovers! Taste the fruits of six middle Tennessee wineries at the first annual
Red, White and Blue Ribbon Fair Wine Festival, August 1st and 2nd at the 2008 Williamson
County Fair presented by Tractor Supply Company. During this new event, festival goers can
sample the products of Arrington Vineyards, Beans Creek Winery, Grinders Switch Winery,
Keg Springs Winery, Monteagle Winery and Chateau Ross Vineyard and Winery.

Festival hours will be Friday, August 1st from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and Saturday, August 2nd,
from 9:00am to 9:00pm in the main arena of the fair. On each even hour, the wineries will
present “Wine 101”, a short tutorial on the process of making wine in Tennessee. Discover
the diversity of area wines and find out what real muscadine wine tastes like and where it
comes from.
                                                                                      Continue to Page 2

Tickets to the Wine Festival are $15 and include admission to the fair and free parking. The
wine festival is restricted to persons 21 and over, and a photo ID will be required for ticket
purchases and entrance to the event. The wineries will offer their products for sale. Upon
payment, festival goers will receive a voucher to pick up their products as they exit the fair
premises.

An amateur wine contest is being held as part of the festival. Judging will take place at
