3. Workplace Assessor credentials: Requirements
To be eligible to conduct a workplace assessment as part of the Pinnacle’s Recognition of Competency
(ROC) process you must satisfy two conditions:
• Hold relevant qualifications or competence in the areas seeking to assess
• Have three years relevant experience (managing people or providing advice to clients) in the
areas that you are seeking to assess
To assess the Diploma or modules from the Diploma program:
You must hold the Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) or relevant units of competence and
have relevant experience (3 years) in the areas that you wishing to assess.

To assess the Advanced Diploma or modules from the Advanced Diploma program:
You must hold the Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) or relevant units of
competence and have relevant experience (3 years) in the areas that you are wishing to assess.
Qualification details:
Please provide copies of the qualifications that you hold – you must hold the full Diploma or Advanced
Diploma qualification or the qualification for the Unit of competence you are wishing to assess.

Experience requirements:
You must have three years experience managing people or providing advice to clients in the areas that
