Description

Reactec is a vibrant company which works in the engineering sector. The Company is launching new products in the
Health and Safety market and growing the team. This is an opportunity to work with a top class team in a dynamic
and challenging environment.

An Accounts Assistant is required to assist the Finance Manager with all aspects of computerised book-keeping,
including dealing with accounts, credit control, sales ledger invoicing, and general administration.

Duties will include the preparation and processing of sales invoices immediately following dispatch or job completion,
ensuring accurate and timely billing, undertaking monthly customer statements, assisting with credit collections
where appropriate, posting all supplier invoices, credit notes & supplier payments, and maintaining all financial
activity records on Sage software. On a monthly basis you will also be required to reconcile bank accounts, credit
cards & cash transactions & assist with general month end tasks.

As well as the above there will also be some general receptionist and administration work as and when required,
including answering the telephone, accepting and distributing incoming mail, and general ad-hoc office duties.

Applicants must have strong numeric and computer skills and be able to demonstrate all round knowledge of basic
book keeping. Experience of working with SAGE Accounting software is essential. A good level of knowledge of
Microsoft Excel would be advantageous. Attention to detail, organisational skills, multi tasking capabilities and
communicating effectively are important traits for the successful candidate to possess. They should also have
previous experience of carrying out financial tasks in a timely manner, be highly organised and able to comply with
tight dead lines.

Successful applicants will be expected to hold at least an HNC/HND in an accountancy related subject or an
equivalent accounting technician/book-keeping qualification and have previous experience of working in an
accounting/book-keeping role.

This is a part time position with the days and hours of work being flexible to suit employer and applicant. Wage is
dependant upon experience.
