BGR130RK Integrated BGR, Receipt Printer & Keypad Boarding gate solutions for new 2D BCBP and traditional ATB2 travel documents. Description Access’ BGR130RK boarding gate reader (BGR) combines a high speed omnidirectional 2D bar code imager with an integrated thermal receipt printer to provide a cost- effective, rugged solution for demanding airport gate reading applications. Options include an integrated 4-track MSR manual swipe reader for occasional ATB2 reading and a 12-key keypad for facilitating seat changes at the gate. A two line user display, bright LED indicators and a programmable sounder provide operator feedback and ensure that passenger processing can be efficiently completed at the gate. It can be used to facilitate seat assignment for passengers boarding with 2D bar coded boarding passes on home printed documents, mobile (cell) phone or PDAs. Additionally, it can be used to offer frequent flyer point receipts.
