NOTE: This first draft SDF Implementation Plan focuses almost wholly on the Mtubatuba Primary Development Node as the
current and future economic hub of Mtubatuba Municipality, which should be provided with appropriate levels of physical
bulk infrastructure in order to attract developers to      te there. To this end an Urban Edge was defined during the IDP
Comprehensive Report in order to set aside a land area for servicing (Publi      nding)(Capital Web) and in so doing to attract
Private development initiative. The motivation for the Urban Edge is set out in the Spatial Development Framework of the IDP
the boundaries shown on PLANS 20A to F. New Plans 20H(1) and 20H(2) of the SDF detail the land portions which are in
Municipal ownership and are to be developed / sold.
