One unusual day, my mom agreed to switch places with me. I bought her new clothes, fed her, and made her do homework. I also made mom do chores. Then, I took her to the mall to buy her new clothes. I took her to Neiman Marcus in the Garden State Plaza to buy her some. My “daughter” and I went to the hip clothing. “Barb” said, “Mom, check out this shirt.” I said, “That’s pretty good.” Both of us picked several cool clothing. We went to the dressing room and tried them on. My “daughter” and I agreed on a stylish outfit. Next, I took “Barb” to Papa Razzi, an Italian restaurant. My “daughter” was fidgeting in her seat and I said, “Barb, stop fidgeting.” I thought to myself, “How bizarre is this? I am the mother and Mom is the daughter.” When lunch arrived, I ate quietly while “Barb” was making a BIG mess. Finally, we went home. I sat “Barb” at the table. I plopped a math book in front of her and when I graded it, I kept flashing these smiles. Oh, how fun it was to switch places with my mother. Next, I made “Barb” do some chores. I said to her, “Wash the dishes.” Then, iI went to the other room to check my e-mail. I went to the kitchen to check on “Barb”. She was squirting water all over the place. I put my hand on my fore-head and exclaimed, “Barb, what did you do?” “Barb” shrugged her shoulders and said, “Oopsies!” We both looked at each other and laughed. This was so funny switching places with my mom. Boy, was this a bizarre but fun day. I enjoyed switching with Mom and had a real sense of pride.
