Riches from Rich WOW! Wasn’’t the Christmas season just wonderful! Let me list some of the ways I enjoyed Christmas at First Baptist. First, the worship services. If you were unable to be in church on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, you missed a wonderful time of worship and celebration. Second, the music. From the Sanctuary Choir and their Christmas Cantata to Luke Grooms on Christmas Day, we had a celebration of Christmas. Third, your many gifts. On behalf of the Lloyd family, thank you for your many kindnesses shown in so many different ways. Fourth, the fellowship. On both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, when so many people had to be so many different places and when so many churches choose not to have Christmas Day worship services, you just didn’’t leave. For more than 45 minutes following both services, scores of you just hung around to enjoy the fellowship of FBC. I like that. I like that a lot. Fifth, the season. What a time of thanksgiving for the birth of our Savior. Sixth, your giving! Over $5200 for Lottie Moon and nearly $48,000 for our budget giving in December. Wow! Thank you. Sunday we will be back to our regular schedule. Let part of your new year’’s resolutions be to be more active at FBC. Have a great day and a great new year! Rich
