					              Welcome Aboard to Auction 2007
Each year, The Country School Parents’ Association sponsors an Auction Dinner,
which is the Association’s primary fundraiser. All proceeds from this event
directly fund enhancements to the educational programs and improvements to the
facility. This event grows more successful each year due to the participation and
generosity of our families and neighborhood businesses. This year we will celebrate
the very heart of where we live, the Chesapeake Bay! So, come along for the ride,
feel the breeze in your hair and the sun on your face as we “Party on the Bay.”

        Auction Procedures
   1. All services must be used within one year, unless otherwise specified. Please allow
sufficient time to arrange mutually convenient fulfillment of promised services. We
recommend the purchaser contact the donors immediately after the auction to make
arrangements for any personal services. The Country School is under no obligation to fulfill
        or refund services purchased.

   2. Each successful bidder must make payment in full by cash, check, or credit card tonight,
January 27th. Your bid is an agreement to buy the item for the amount of your bid. Any
item that has a minimum raise amount must be increased by that amount to be a valid bid.
Any final bid that does not follow that minimum requirement will be raised to meet that
requirement before it is entered as a valid final winning bid. If the successful bidder does
not want the item at that price, than it will be offered to the next highest bidder.

   3. Buy it Now items will be available up until Friday at 4:00 p.m. on January 26th. Any items
not sold at that time will be available on the auction tables under the usual auction rules
on the night of January 27th.

   4. The Live Auction procedure is as follows. The highest bidder recognized by the auctioneer
shall be deemed the purchaser. In the case of a dispute, the auctioneer will have sole
discretion to determine the successful bidder.

   5. All items must be claimed and removed from the hotel by the end of the evening. If you are
unable to remove an item tonight, you must make arrangements with Kathy Dawkins to
transport the item back to school. All items transported to school must be picked up on
Monday, January 29th after 10:00 a.m. No deliveries to private homes will be made.

   6. Contributions may be deductible for federal income tax purposes to the extent of amounts
paid in excess of the value of goods and services received by the purchaser. The estimated
value of the item(s) purchased is indicated on the purchaser’s receipt. Consult your tax
        advisor for information.

   7. The information contained herein is deemed reliable, however, The Country School makes
no representations or warranties as to its accuracy. All goods are sold in “as is” condition.
All sales are final and there are no refunds.
