                      Information regarding Painting Competition

       An "On-the-spot Painting Competition" is being organized on 10th November, 2009 (Tuesday)
from 10.15 A.M. onwards at Birsa Mandap, Raj Bhawan, Ranchi under the aegis of Jharkhand State
Council for Child Welfare. This is to inform all the willing participants that they should get their
names registered through their respective schools by 5th November, 2009 and shall report at Birsa
Mandap, Raj Bhawan by 9.30 A.M.
       Only those participants shall be allowed to participate, who have done their registration in
advance. No registration will be done on 10th November, 2009. Prize winning entries will be send to
New Delhi to participate in "National Level Painting Competition" to be held under the aegis of Indian
Council for Child Welfare.
       Participants for the competition on 10th November have been grouped variously in the
following manner:
   (1) General Category:- (i) Green Group for children in the age group of 5 to 8 years
                             (ii) White Group for children in the age group of 9 to 12 years
                             (iii) Blue Group for children in the age group of 13 to 16 years
   (2) Special Category:- (i) Yellow Group for children in the age group of 5 to 10 years
                             (ii) Red Group for children in the age group of 11 to 18 years
Special category children have been sub-divided into four groups, namely, spastic/multiple disability,
mentally challenged, blind and hearing impaired.
       Concerned school may send or propose the names of 2 children each for various groups of
General category and 3 children each for various groups of Special category to JSCCW so that the
registration can be done in advance so as to enable the children the participant on the fixed date. It is to
be noted that special category children should bring their disability certificates.

Note: - All children will come along with pencils, rubbers, colours & crayons, paper will be provided
by the council.
