Primero Grove Email Newsletter

WELCOME TO PRIMERO GROVE! This is the first installment of the Primero Grove Email Newsletter for the 2002-2003 school year. The Primero Grove staff would like to welcome you back from summer break. Here are some important events happening at Primero Grove this month: Primero Grove Social Committee Barbeque On Friday September 20th Primero Grove will have its first social committee get together at the Primero Grove Commons. The barbeque will start around 5:00 p.m. Primero Grove will provide hot dogs (vegetarian and non-vegetarian,) hot dog buns, chips, sodas and Popsicles. We also encourage you to bring your own food to cook on the barbeques. At the barbeque we will go over what’s new at Primero Grove and some of the exciting activities planned for the new year. Parking Stickers Primero Grove parking stickers will be available for purchase beginning September 16th. The stickers are three (3) dollars for the whole year. Parking enforcement will begin on October 1st, so make sure to purchase your sticker before this date. TAPS will be strictly enforcing parking this year due to the limited amount of parking spaces. Primero Grove may also tow illegally parked cars from the Primero Grove parking lot. Call Boxes If you wish to have your name input in the Primero Grove Call Boxes you will need to come down to the office and sign our call box sheet. Due to some technical problems, the system had to be reset. Even if you had your name on the call box last year, you will still need to come down to the office and sign up for the call box again. Sorry for the inconvenience. The call boxes should be ready by the second week of classes. Mail Boxes If you are not already aware, the US Postal Service delivers all mail to the mailboxes located in the breezeway of Laurel. You can figure out your mail box number by looking at the chart in the display case across from the mailboxes. Please make sure to write your name and the name of your roommates on the card provided in your mailbox. Also if you plan on receiving packages from the USPS, usually the package will be put in one of the parcel boxes located underneath the mailboxes. However if the package is too large or it has insurance, you will need to pick it up at the Davis Post Office located on corner of Fifth and Poleline. Primero Grove only accepts UPS, FedEx, Airborne and DHL packages at the office, not USPS packages. If you have any questions or comments, please call 754-8455 or stop by the office during normal business hours. Sincerely, Curtis Mann Resident Manager Primero Grove Apartments
