       WHAT IS TECH PREP?
   Tech Prep is a program that allows
    high school students to earn both
    high school and college credit at the
    same time
   Students stay at their high school
    campus and take approved Tech
    Prep classes
   The program is free and there are no
    “strings” attached
       IS THIS “REAL” COLLEGE
               CREDIT?
   Absolutely! Our college is accredited
    and community college is “real”
    college. We offer certificates of
    completion and two year degrees.
    Most often community college credit
    will transfer to four-year institutions,
    but not always. Check with the four-
    year school that you wish to attend
    ahead of time!
       WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH
         COLLEGE CREDIT

   Use it to attend South Puget Sound
    Community College
   Transfer the credit to most other technical
    and community colleges in Washington
   Transfer the credit to many four-year
    colleges
   Join the military at a higher rank and pay
    than someone without college credit
   Use it on a resume or in a portfolio to help
    you get a job
         SAVE TIME AND MONEY
   Tech Prep saves you time and money.
    You do not pay college tuition, student
    fees, parking fees, or for textbooks
   Save time by getting a head start on your
    college education. Earn college credits
    while in high school.
   With college credits you can register for
    college classes ahead of those without
    credits. Classes fill quickly and this can
    give you an advantage to getting the
    classes you want.

BOOKS
The cost of books varies depending upon the type of class. In general,
students can plan on spending $50 to $75.00 per class.

Costs for parking on the main campus are as follows:
Part-Time Per Quarter $35.12
Full-Time Per Quarter $43.90
