Welcome to the first edition of ‘The 6 Pointer’, a newsletter that will come out after each home game. POINT 1 - Weekend Wrap Up
Cheer, Cheer The Red and The White !!! 68 point win....Top 4 here we come... My wrap up would not be complete without pointing out Bazza’s exceptional return to form kicking 5 goals and narrowly missing the other 1-4 attempts. I really think he has silenced his critics...and you know who you are !!!! Next week we play those filthy Queenslanders at the Gabba so if you are free come round to my joint to hopefully sing the song at the end of the match...
POINT 2 - Rule of The Week
This newsletter I focus on the call that those yellow maggots are having a field day with, you guessed it – “The Push In The Back”. So here is the technical explanation :“ If a defender is running and he just places his hand on a guy's back while he has got his arm around spoiling, even if it's a legitimate spoil, it's a free kick for in the back, even though you are not pushing or holding, you're just steadying yourself, that's a free kick. "If a player uses a hand to steady himself when going up for a mark, that too is now a free kick.” Being Swans supporters, the easiest way to pick a push in the back is every time we are going for the ball, it’ll be called !!!!
