CTA-ARIZONA NEWSLETTER Happy New Year! We hope that the New Year is abundant in blessings of peace and joy, laughter and love! Please read on for information on exciting programs coming in early 2007 and you'll also find information regarding CTA membership and annual dues. Upcoming events and meetings: Thursday January 11, 7 pm: Monthly meeting at Essentially Books. We will watch a powerful video of Diana Hayes presenting her 2006 CTA conference plenary address. Friday, January 12, 7 pm: John Dear will talk at Ethel and Kemper Marley Auditorium
 at the Virginia Piper Center, Xavier College Prep, 4710 North 5th Street, Phoenix, AZ.

Sunday March 4: Elisabeth Schussler Fiorenza will talk on Uses and abuses of the Bible, First United Methodist Church of Phoenix, 5510 N. Central Ave, Phoenix. Co-sponsored by Arizona Foundation for Contemporary Theology and JAAZ. Thursday March 8: We will watch a video from the Richard Rohr series or from the most recent National CTA Conference. Saturday March 24: Jason Berry will join us to present his movie “Vows of Silence” and lead a seminar including what we can do to support survivors of the sex abuse scandal in the church. This movie was “standing room only” at the national conference. April 13-15: 2007 West Coast Conference, Embracing Radical Jesus in a Changing World.
