When you first arrive in Thailand and pass through Thai Immigration you will be granted either a 60-day or a 30-day stay,
according to your nationality, and you will receive a stamp in your passport giving the date you enter (ADMITTED) and the

stays of 60 (or 30) days until you have used up all entries. If you have a visa with more than one entry and wish to stay in
Thailand for a further 60 (or 30) days it is necessary to visit a Thai Immigration Border Control Office about 2-3 days
before the stay expires, exit Thailand into neighbouring country and immediately re-enter to activate your next 60 (or 30)

or seminar, to work (paid or unpaid), to enrol at a school/university as a student, to attend a training/education course (to
teach English, scuba dive, Thai boxing, Buddhism, etc) or to do volunteer work.

permitted to stay continuously in Thailand for more than 90 days. With a multiple entry visa it is necessary to visit a
convenient Thai Immigration Border Control Office before your 90-day stay comes to an end, exit Thailand and re-enter to
activate your next 90-day stay. You can keep doing this every 90 days whilst your visa remains valid. When you come to
the end of your only or final 90-day stay you must leave Thailand and you cannot re-enter until you obtain a new visa.

ALL VISAS

Please note that if you remain in Thailand beyond the “admitted until” date in your passport you may be detained.

Please note that a visa entitles the holder to travel to Thailand and request admission to enter the country. The visa does not
automatically guarantee entry in to Thailand. Entry is granted only at the discretion of the Immigration Officer on duty at the
point of entry in to Thailand.

Visas are issued at the absolute discretion of the Royal Thai Consulate (RTC). In the event of a visa not being granted by the RTC, the
RTC accepts no liability whatsoever. In the event of loss or damage to any passport and/or document while in the possession of the
RTC, liability will be limited to the commercial value of the passport or document. The RTC accepts no liability for consequential loss.

Fees charged for visas are collected as processing fees for the issue of the visa and once the visa has been issued all such fees are
non refundable in any circumstances.

                                             SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

Applying by post:
Postal applications should be sent to Royal Thai Consulate, Priory Court, Saxon Way, Hessle, Hull, HU13 9PB.
Applications are usually processed within 24 hours of receipt.
We recommend using Royal Mail “Special Delivery” which is a trackable service. You are also responsible for the return of
your passport so you need to include with your application an extra £8 so that we can arrange return of your passport by
“Special Delivery” to an address in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. Please note that “Special Delivery” is a
„sign-for‟ service so someone will need to be at your address to receive your returned passport. You can request us to
return your passport to any address but you must make this clear on the application form. More than one application and
passport can be sent to us in the same envelope and we can return more than one passport to the same address provided
the total weight does not exceed 500 grams. We do not accept any responsibility for passports, etc which may be lost
while in transit to or from this consulate. Please be aware that if you are not in when Royal Mail attempts to deliver they do
not always leave a card. Accordingly if you have not received your passport back within 7 days of sending it to us we
advise you to check with your local Post Office. Failure to check within 7 days could result in your local Post Office
returning the envelope to us which will delay you receiving your passport.

Applying in person:
Applications can be submitted in person at the Royal Thai Consulate, Priory Court, Saxon Way, Hessle, Hull, HU13
9PB between 09:30 and 16:00 Monday to Friday but excluding UK national holidays. It is necessary to book an
