GaN on Si component manufacturing specialist adds high-frequency packaging expert…

Durham, N.C. (May 29, 2007) — Nitronex, an innovative developer and manufacturer of
high-performance RF power transistors for the commercial and broadband wireless
infrastructure markets, has named David M. Boulin as the new Supply Chain Manager.
Mr. Boulin has more than 25 years of industry experience involving high frequency, high
performance silicon device packaging, fabrication and manufacturing.
      “Mr. Boulin’s packaging, project management and international business
operations expertise strengthens Nitronex’s world-class technology team,” said Bruce
Cochran, VP of Operations at Nitronex. “His contributions will enable us to address key
industry packaging issues, such as thermal management and cost reduction while
providing unique solutions for our customers.”
      Before joining Nitronex, Mr. Boulin served as the LDMOS Advanced Technology
Package project manager at AGERE Systems where he developed and documented
program strategy to execute packaging and cost reduction programs. Prior to that, Mr.
Boulin was an Intellectual Property Licensing manager at AGERE Systems. At Lucent
Technologies Bell Labs, Mr. Boulin held the position of SCALPEL advanced lithography
International Consortium Business Manger. As a member of the Technical Staff at
AT&T Bell Labs, Mr. Boulin was responsible for the development of the 0.25um
technology process at Murray Hill, NJ.

       In addition, he has published more than 25 technical papers and holds 4 United
States patents covering semiconductor test structures through advanced lithographic
technology. Mr. Boulin has one additional packaging patent pending.
       Mr. Boulin received his B.S. in Physics from Bethany College and his M.S. in
Physics from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
