Amma and Bhagavan are one. They are the mother and the father aspect of the divine. Bhagavan gives the people grace as the father, Amma as the mother fulfills their desires, needs, health problems, in fact everything. Bhagavan all the time is concerned about the spiritual growth of people and leading them towards liberation. Bhagavan is focused on that. Amma is immersed in fulfilling people’s desires. – Sri Amma.
On a personal note
What a year it has been so far! At the beginning of January, I went back to India to do a 10-day deepening course. Then we had our Oneness Conference in Adelaide, which turned out to be beyond our expectations. After the conference, I went on a 3-week personal retreat to integrate, contemplate and surrender further. A few weeks after that I was off again for 6 days to the Flinders Rangers to run deeksha programs, personal healing sessions and enjoy the countryside. The 1-day deeksha retreat at Fullerville, Flinders Rangers was quite amazing. Jennifer and I stayed with Bev and Richard, a beautiful couple, who looked after our every need. They lovingly offered their home (an 1867 Lutheran Church) to hold our deeksha retreat. Apart from being in an old church, the energy of the land itself was powerful, which just added to the strength of the deekshas and one’s experiences. Also, for me personally, it is such a joy to run programs in the rural areas. I find the country folk very open, responsive and appreciative, the divine energy just seems to flow through them. Out of all the places I have been to in Australia, I seem to be drawn to Wilpena Pound the most. I just love the energy there and always look forward to visiting whenever there is an opportunity, so Bev and I headed out to Wilpena Pound on one of our free days. It was such a strange journey though. The day before our trip was very wet and stormy, but on the day we decided to head out, it was simply overcast with some showers here and there, otherwise fine. As we drove closer to the pound, we saw in the distance a curtain of mist or fine rain right across the road. It looked so strange and reminded us a little bit of the book Mists of Avalon. The funny thing was that we actually felt ourselves going through a curtain of some type as we drove through it and we found ourselves on the other side where the sky was a beautiful blue and the sun was shining brightly. Bev and I just looked at each other in amazement and continued on our way. We got to the pound just on midday, had a quick bite to eat and headed out on a one-hour walk. We walked at a reasonable pace, stopping here and there to take pictures, or to just admire the view. Bev and I climbed to the lookout where we met some interstate travellers and chatted with them for about 15 minutes of so. Then we climbed back down and headed into the flat circular part of the pound. We found a lovely spot under a tree where some kangaroos were eating the vegetation and I gave Bev a deeksha. We really enjoyed it in this part of the pound and found out that not many people go that way. We walked deeper into the pound circle and found ourselves all of a sudden in a small ring of trees. As we were saying to each other how amazing this place was, we noticed that all was very quiet. We could not here the breeze in the tree, nor the birds, as we did earlier. This place seemed like another zone. Reluctantly we headed back out and to the car, as we wanted to visit other places on our drive back. It did seem odd to me though, as we were walking back out of the pound, that the shadows were quite long for that time of the day. When we got to the car Bev checked the time and it was just on 5pm. We both said that the clock must be wrong so we checked my mobile phone time – and it showed the same! We have spent almost 5 hours doing a one-hour walk. Bev and I don’t wear watches and are both pretty good with timing, so we were floored to learn that what we assumed would have been a 3-hour maximum walk (with our little stops along the way) turned out to be almost 5 hours! What happened to the time? We went over our trip so many times and we could not account for the other 2 hours! The only thing we could think of was that something happened in that ring of trees when everything went still. Wilpena pound certainly is an incredible place. Since it was too late to stop anywhere else, we drove straight home and shared our experience with Richard. It took us a couple of days to fully integrate that experience.

Another powerful experience for people happened during the actual deeksha retreat. Some time ago, Bev constructed a labyrinth, which we incorporated into our program. I got all the participants to select an inspirational card and contemplate on its relevance to them as they entered the labyrinth. I gave everyone a deeksha at the entrance of the labyrinth and Jennifer gave the participants another deeksha as they came into the centre. Most people stated that they experienced the labyrinth differently as they were going in to when they were coming out of it and loved the whole journey. I have attached a few photos from our trip on the www.deekshas.com website. In love and gratitude Maya
Sri Bhagavan talks about how deeksha effects the molecular structure of water
If you take a glass of water and using special cameras, you can take a picture of its molecular structure. You will see some patterns. Let us say you touch that same glass of water with deeksha, and then you take another picture of that, you will find it will have beautiful floral patterns. The molecular structure itself will have changed. It will have very beautiful patterns because you have touched it. That is the deeksha that has gone into it. This is science. It has been scientifically proved. Now what's your body? Your body is 80% water, so when deeksha is being given to you, the deeksha is being absorbed by what is called the sensory cells. They have the knack of picking up energy and it is transferred to the water in you body, and the blood, etc. So in 80% of your body the molecular structure is changed, and that 80% is flowing to all parts of the body. It is flowing into your heart; it is flowing into your liver. If the liver is healthy, you will have very little jealousy. If your liver is terrible, you will suffer from terrible jealousy. All these emotions can be traced back to the organs in the body. They are set right when the changed molecular patterns go into the brain and sets right the brain. All these things happen because we've touched a glass of water and given it to you to drink. Or we can touch your head with deeksha and the same thing happens. No water is required. It goes into your body the same way it goes into the water. Similarly when a ritual or a vidya mala is done, we touch the mala (rosary) and give it to you. The energy gets transferred into the mala you are wearing, from there it goes into the sensory cells, and from there to the water in your body. It sets you right. That is how it works. This is science, but test it out. You can see the real effects also by testing it out. Empirically you can prove it. Since you are trying to gain, take the deeksha. If you feel it's not going to work for you, don't take it. If you feel it will work for you, because it has worked for so many thousands of people, try it. If it works for you, continue it, but this is the science behind it. Since you're trying to benefit, try it out and see. To view the video of Bhagavan saying this use the following link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlKtOlTX5Eg Sri Bhagavan answers question on how to set right relationships
One of the fundamental teachings of the Dharma is to set right relationships. Exactly how can we improve or set right our relationships? It is essential for you to first understand that 'Life is relationships'. Now coming to your question how to improve relationships? The problem of relationships cannot be solved through psychology. All effort to understand the other person completely can never help. It is like peeling an onion. As you go on peeling an onion nothing remains. Say, you are eating khova (a south Indian sweet dish), you don't try to understand, but just experience the eating of khova. In the same way, you need to experience the other person just as he or she is. A husband trying to analyse or understand his wife will take him nowhere. Analysis leads to paralysis. Everybody is constantly trying to understand, analyse, judge others while struggling to change the other

person. Unfortunately, people fail to realize that this is impossible as all of you are like computers who have been programmed and hence have no free will of your own. Your past lives, birth traumas, childhood, education, culture and all your conditionings are in possession of you and your lives. Your life flows according to this programme. So, when you are trying to understand and change the other person; it is only one programme trying to alter another programme. This game goes on from birth to death. Supposing you are going to a movie everyday, hoping that there will be a new ending, a new climax. Will it really change? All of you are trying to change each other in the same way! What you need to do is experience the other person fully. When the husband returns home to find his wife screaming, he must experience her like watching a movie or drinking a glass of juice. What happened? Why it happened? Why is her nature that way cannot be really known. Remember, it is like peeling an onion. If you experience life becomes Joy! It does not matter what the event is. You have to only experience the programme. Stop judging and being critical. When you experience the other person, you would know exactly how to respond. Abraham Lincoln was shot. Who is to be blamed? The person who shot, the person who made the gun or the person who invented it or somebody else. No person can really be blamed, for a situation is dependent on so many factors. It is not possible to pinpoint a single reason. If you look at the Bible, it also tells us 'Judge not least ye be judged'. Unless something happens to the programme itself, say through Grace, nothing can change. If the wife screams, experience it. Is it possible? Thousands have done it. It is simple and practical. If you experience people, your heart flowers and synchronises with Earth's heartbeat. Grace flows and your problems would be solved.
Article from Indian paper, ‘Inner Voice’
Life is all about Relationships. “We can be defined by our relationships”, says Sri Bhagavan, founder of the Oneness University, near Chennai, South India. We could be a child of a person, father of another, or friend, employee etc. Each of us is a circle, each relationship being a sector. When any one relationship is not right, there is discord. “The external world is a reflection of the inner,” he says. This Discord manifests itself in the external world as problems of health, finance or lack of spiritual growth. A bad relationship affects the heart, that affects the brain and in turn, the immune system. When people seek grace for a health problem, they function through the immune system to revive organs. The better a person’s relationships, the better she/he is able to receive grace. Sri Bhagavan likens parents to God. Our relationship with our parents defines our relationship with God. If we neglect our parents, He will neglect us. For us to receive Divine Grace, our relationship with God must be good, so our relationship with our parents must be good too. Relationships are spoilt by our tendency to judge, analyse and change others. Our personality, behaviour and attitude are a result of factors such as birth trauma, childhood experiences and education. Sri Bhagavan likens us to computers that have been programmed and have no free will. One person trying to change another is like one program trying to rewrite another or like watching a movie repeatedly hoping there will be a new ending someday. We must experience people as they are, without judging and criticising. We must experience our spouse’s anger, our child’s irritation and our friend’s insecurity. When we do, a silence will come upon us, which will yield affection. We will know exactly how to respond. Our heart will then flower allowing for the flow of Grace to come.

Oneness University Fiji
Well, it is finally happening. Construction is under way to build the first Oneness University outside of India where resident dasas (Bhagavan’s trained monks from India) will run deeksha retreats on a regular basis, making it easier for westerners who cannot or do not wish to go to India. I am told that the deeksha retreats will commence some time towards the end of this year. At this stage it is not clear if these retreats are just for people who have attended Tony Robbins programs or for everyone. I will keep you posted as I find out more. Tony Robbins is a major sponsor of this project as the University is built on his Island of Namale. Namale sits majestically on the edge of the Koro Sea. The magic of Namale lies in its combination of lush and colorful landscape, luxurious accommodations, and the unparalleled hospitality of the resort staff. It is the epitome of seclusion and privacy. Namale was named one of the Top 50 Most Romantic Places on Earth by Luxury Magazine. Sounds like a wonderful place to hang out and get deeksha.
Sri Anandagiriji Talks about Prosperity
The following is a brief outline of the telephone conference from the USA, with Sri Anandagiriji, which took place 8 April 2007. The main theme was the union of spirit and matter, oneness and prosperity. Sri Anandagiri said that with the appearance of Sri Bhagavan and Sri Amma on the planet, humanity had the great opportunity to end the split in the group mind between spirit and material abundance. This false theme which has been embedded in the psyche of humanity in most of, if not all, the major world religions where there has been a split between being spiritual and godly and being rich with material comforts needs to end. Sri Anandagiri and Krishnaraj emphasized that lack of abundance comes with this split in our psyches and it can also come as a result of problems in relationships or a lack of integration and healing with our mother and father in our psyches. The advice: pray and ask Amma Bhagavan for healing and help with one or both sources of a lack of abundance. Pray and ask Amma Bhagavan to send our parents and relatives no longer with us into higher Lokas (dimensions) where their lives after so-called death are easier, happier and freer. It was also emphasized by Sri Anandagiri that: we ask for Amma Bhagavan’s grace to accept all aspects of our life and being, especially our shadow parts as we have been programmed to deny or hate (dislike) those parts. We are advised to see and accept and take joy in all parts of our life, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

“Awakening into Oneness” worldwide book launch
This message comes to you from Acharya Anandagiri, via Krishna Raj Dasaji, Oneness University India.
Dear Oneness facilitators and friends of the Oneness University, we are very happy to announce the publication of "Awakening into Oneness", the new book by Arjuna Ardagh about the Oneness Blessing and the vision of Sri Amma Bhagavan. To write this book, Arjuna interviewed Sri Bhagavan and also Sri Amma, which was an unprecedented phenomenon. He conducted many hours of interviews with Sri Anandagiriji and Sri Samadarshiniji and many of the dasas at the University, as well as hundreds of Blessing Givers all over the world. The book is fully endorsed and blessed by Sri Amma Bhagavan and all of us at the Oneness University, and we encourage all Oneness facilitators to spread word of this book in order to facilitate Sri Amma Bhagavan's work and vision. The book has been printed and will be in bookstores in the May. To order a copy on line, please visit the book's website: www.awakeningintooneness.org . Please visit the site to read excerpts, and to see the event schedule that accompanies the book. If possible, please order your copy from this website, as a percentage of income goes towards the developmental projects of the Oneness University. Arjuna conducted the research for the book in the first half of 2006. Of course, the vision and work of Amma Bhagavan is always changing and evolving, so please go the "news and articles" section and add news of the Oneness Blessing in your own life and in your service to the world. People who buy the book will be directed to this site for recent news. The Illumination University is a new on line forum founded by Gay and Kathlyn Hendricks, and features master teachers like Eckhart Tolle, Jean Huston, Neale Donald Walsh and many other. They have invited Arjuna to host the first of many Oneness Tele-Conferences, in May. Arjuna has invited many of the celebrities interviewed for the book to join the call, and one or more dasas from the Oneness University will also be participating. The event is on Wednesday May 16th from 6pm lasts for two and a half hours, and has a small fee. We ask Oneness facilitators from all over the world to join this call, to give the Oneness Blessing all at the same time to the people participating. They expect anywhere from 1000 to 5000 people to attend. You will be able to view details about this call in the next days at www.illuminationuniversity.com. Acharya Anandagiri and Guides of the Oneness University, India.
May 20 2007 World Peace Day
Krishnaraj, a Dasa from Oneness University India, has informed us that on May 20 2007 for “World Oneness Day”, the twin Avatars for Awakening and God Realisation, Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavan, have consented to be physically present at the event. They will join an estimated 17,000 Indian and 500 foreign Oneness Facilitators and about 35,000 villagers showering their Oneness Blessing on the whole world to accelerate Global Awakening into Oneness, to deepen the state of all Oneness Facilitators and to increase the power of the Oneness Blessings flowing through them. This will be the largest gathering of Oneness Facilitators in human history. There will be over 17,000 Oneness facilitators with Amma and Bhagavan transferring the energies of Awakening into Oneness to the entire world at the same time! This planet will never be the same! The more people that are involved, the more powerful will be its measurable effects. There is a very special and significant world event happening around the world. This event, known as the 'World Peace Day', is being specially organized by The Club of Budapest, The Goi Peace Foundation (Japan) and The Global Consciousness Project (GCP) of Dr. Roger Nelson (Retd. Professor, Princeton University) to scientifically monitor the effects of prayers and spiritual activities on global consciousness. In this connection, four different prayer events have been organized on the same day in four parts of the world namely Mt. Fuji, Japan (where an estimated 10,000 people will gather) followed by the Oneness

University in India (where an estimated 17,000 deeksha givers will gather), Damanhur in Italy (where a further 6,000 people will gather) and Toronto; Canada (where an estimated 2,000 people will gather). The event in each of these four places would be conducted differently. In the Oneness University, India, it would be conducted as 'World Oneness Day' wherein, around 17,500 people from all parts of India would gather to transfer and receive Oneness blessings (Deeksha) with the deep intent of affecting human consciousness, to bring about world peace and Oneness.
