Date: Mr./Ms. Interviewer Position Title (optional) Business / Organization Name Street Address City, Province Postal Code Dear Ms. Interviewer, Thank you for taking the time to discuss the position of sales clerk with me yesterday. It was a pleasure meeting you and learning more about Zellers. I enjoyed hearing about your commitment to the community and as we discussed share the same values about volunteering in community events. During our meeting you mentioned that one of the major responsibilities of the job would be maintaining a positive attitude with difficult customers. This was also a major focus of my previous position as sales clerk in a busy retail store. One of my strategies for addressing this issue was to listen to their concerns in a respectful manner. 95% of the time I was able to address the issues quickly so that the flow of sales was not affected and the challenging customer left the store satisfied. Thank you again for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you and the possibility of joining your staff. As agreed upon in the interview, I will be contacting you by Friday, August 1, 2003 to see how the process is going and answer any additional questions you may have. Sincerely, Me
