Correction to Book Review
To the Editor: I wanted to bring to your attention an error in my book review, The Real Drug Abusers, that appeared in the last issue of the Journal. Thomas Szasz pointed out to me a bogus quotation I used at the end of the review universally attributed to Benjamin Rush. Interested AJPE readers are encouraged to examine the upcoming March issue of History of Psychiatry (UK) for Szasz’s article that contains a complete exposé on the bogus nature of this quotation.
