WGun
The WGun is a high output, high efficiency sprayer of all materials, using Oxygen and Acetylene. It is designed for continuous use by the contractor, or production sprayer, who requires a gun that is easy to maintain, and will give long periods of trouble-free operation, with a minimum of maintenance. Power for the wire feed, is provided by a high torque air motor, giving infinitely variable speed control. This feature offers valuable material savings. An exclusive feature is the provision of an air blast shield, which prevents wire burn back, and excessive nozzle erosion. The gas head and combustion assembly, provide excellent flame stability, and easy lighting, with safety features which ensure that internal leakage of gas is impossible, and the sequence in which the gases are released to the head, cannot become out of phase. The WGun can be fitted with an adjustable spreader attachment, which modifies the spray pattern, reducing unwanted overspray, and producing important material savings. Other important advantages include the lightweight, low cost, and the fine quality of the coatings produced. It is only possible to spray molybdenum coatings, with pre-selected hardness. Additional optional equipment includes toolpost holders, and extension nozzles of 23cm (9"), 46cm (18"), and 91cm (36") lengths, for the I.D. spraying of tubes and bores.

TYPE IV FLOWMETERS:
The Type IV Flowmeter insures that the correct mixture of fuel gas and oxygen is fed to the Gun, in the correct quantities, when used in conjunction with an A-Flame Gun and Pressure Regulators. The optimum flame for any particular application can be produced quickly and easily. Each flowmeter comprises two working parts: a tapered borosilicate glass tube with a ceramic scale, and a dynamically balanced float, providing stability and accuracy. A perspex panel protects the instruments, which are mounted in a steel case, allowing them to be wall mounted. Left-hand threads are standard on the fuel gas fittings, so that gas and oxygen hoses cannot be incorrectly fitted (see mounting instructions). The large floats, scale divisions, and indicators, enable the unit to be used at a distance. The flowmeters are also valuable as trouble shooting aids; because, where flows differ greatly from those given for a particular mixing block/nozzle arrangement, a fault in this area is indicated. The relevant parts should then be examined. The type IV Flowmeters are used in the following manner:
NOTE: Before using, ensure that the area is sufficiently ventilated to prevent a build up of gas.
1. The indicators should be set to the values given on the chart overleaf for the particular fuel gas, material, wire size and nozzle system. 2. Wire should be loaded into the Gun so that 1" protrudes from the front of the air nipple. 3. Turn on the air, gas and oxygen in the order stated. 4. Open the Gun valve and wait a few moments, set the air pressure to 65 psi and the fuel gas pressure to the required value given in the chart. 5. The oxygen pressure should then be adjusted so that the tops of both floats are positioned similarly about their respective indicators as shown in the diagram. 6. The Gun valve should then be closed and the Gun may now be lit in the normal manner
