   There are 26
letters in the
English alphabet.
There are
upper case
letters and lower case letters.
We call the upper case letters
“capital letters”. The letters of the
alphabet are also called the
ABCs.
   There are two kinds of
handwriting: printing and cursive.
Printed letters are not hooked
together. Cursive letters can
be hooked together. Printing is
easier to read than cursive.
