October 2008

To: County 4H and 4H Agents

Allflex USA Inc. is pleased to supply the State of Ohio with an alternative program for identifying youth
livestock projects for the year 2009.

This program is designed to offer county fairs across Ohio a simple and uniform method for acquiring
identification tags for their respective events. Our apologies for the delay in this year’s program. We
appreciate all of the counties that have participated with Allflex products in the past.

The nomination process for cattle, sheep, goats and hogs are already underway, and as in the past,
Allflex has designed a specific and uniform ID solution for these participants. Each set of tags will be
comprised of an Yellow Tamperproof two-piece Tamperproof tag set with corresponding information on
both male and female portions of the tag. The information on the tag will include the ODA county fair
code and a four digit management number. The tags utilize the latest marking technology and the use
of the Allflex Red Universal Total Tagger. This tagger can be used to apply both Cattle and Hog tags.

To order tags for your county, simply fill out the following form. To enable each county in Ohio to get
the best possible price, the order forms must be received by a specified date, which is designated on
the following order form. Then the orders will all be placed at the same time to receive the special
volume pricing as quoted. Upon completion of the order forms, fax and also mail the hard copy to PBS
Animal Health, Attention: TAMMY ZIMMERMAN (Fax: 330.830.2762) 2780 Richville Drive SE,
Massillon, Ohio 44646. PBS livestock will place the order with Allflex and will bill the appropriate party
for your county fair. Orders will only be accepted by the above procedure. Orders cannot be phoned in.

We hope that this will continue to be a worthwhile program. Please remember that participation is on a
volunteer basis. Because the tags are county- specific and not year specific, you can order as many
tags as you might use for one year or two years. If you have any questions about the tags you can
contact me at 972.456.3686, Voice Mail 1161 or Tammy Zimmerman , PBS Livestock, 330-834-3000,
Ext. 1114.
