Job Title:       Store Manager
Reports To:      Central Region Retail Sales and Government Services Mgr
Location:        Laughlin Air Force Base Del Rio, Texas
Payroll Status: Non-Exempt

Responsible for the daily operations including profits, inventory control,
customer service personnel supervision, planning and communication of the 1
Store Solutions retail store and warehouse in support of the mission of the
South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind and the JWOD program. Complies with
established policies and procedures and contract requirements.

High School diploma or GED equivalent required; completion of college
business and/or retail management courses preferred; minimum three to five
years supervisory or management experience including inventory management,
shipping and receiving, and customer service; knowledge of effective
merchandise presentation standards and understanding of basic retail concepts
(gross margin, markdowns); proficiency in using e-mail, Internet, POS system,
MS Windows, including creating documents using MS Word and Excel; must be
detailed-oriented, well organized, and have good time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to build effective teams and motivate employees; must
have strong initiative and leadership skills including excellent problem solving
skills; excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to adapt
quickly and react positively to business needs and changes in strategies;
willingness to set and maintain high standards of performance; must have
current driver’s license and be insurable; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
