 Monthly conference calls and annual in-person meeting
    With the large number of regions/planning, monthly calls are necessary
    In-person meetings very productive to map out future direction for the
     coming year
 Excellent working relationships
    Participants are all very reasonable and easy to work with, which is
     important if this is to work!

Conference: Statistics
 Audience
    30 – 90 people
    Good government, title, escrow, and vendor attendance
    Poor realtor/lender attendance
 Length
    Started off at four hours (10:00 am – 2:00 pm)
    Now down to three hours (9:00 am – 12:00 pm)
 Topics
    Started off at three topics
    Now down to two topics to allow for more open forum discussion (but still
     not enough time!)

Lessons Learned
 Get a (free) room!
     Hotel minimums and/or remote location = heartburn
 Don’t make it overly difficult to set up
     If too difficult, you will not want to do it again!
     Easier once you build relationships with speakers
 Consider morning meetings
     Continental breakfast is less expensive and easier to set up and
      implement than lunch
     Don’t have to devote the entire day to the conference
