     Nice to meet you!
     First of all, thank you for reading the letter from the College of International Culture
(CIC), South China Normal University (SCNU)!
      SCNU is one of the key universities in South China, and is a part of the ‘Project 211’
of China. SCNU is located in Guangzhou, which is the metropolis of South China. It enjoys
the nice weather, beautiful environment, and convenient transportation as well. For further

     CIC is in charge of providing degree and non-degree Chinese language and culture
training course for international students. The full time teaching staff in the college is about
30 and all are accredited national qualification of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
The language teaching building is of A level, a very modern one, consisting of 15
multimedia classrooms and a number of normal ones, which allow around 800 students to
have classes simultaneously. The accommodation building for international students can
accommodate about 400 persons with its 354 rooms, which are well furnished with access

     In order to establish friendly Sino-foreign relationships between SCNU and parties
concerned, we would, sincerely, like to cooperate closely with our esteemed partners.
Ways of cooperation currently at work include but are not limited to the following:
       1. Recruiting students for CIC to learn Chinese language and culture, either degree or
            non-degree studies;
       2. Cooperation on short-term or long-term educational and academic training program;
       3. Exchange of scholars and students for learning, research, discussions, and activities;
       4. Organization of academic conference.
     We have signed agreements with some overseas organizations on collaborations and
/or recruiting students as agencies, and we also welcome more and more organizations to
come to talk with us on such issues. If you have any questions or request, I, as well as my
colleagues, would be very glad to provide you with detailed information. Any further
