A letter of Introduction to the SMSA from the President, Dr Roger Morris AM

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in the Position of General Manager, which the
School has advertised. The position has become vacant because the current
General Manager, Mr. Stephen Couling has decided to resign to pursue other
interests. The School is sorry to be losing his services and is hopeful of
recruiting a replacement, who will similarly serve the School well.

The job is demanding one; involving as it does a range of roles and duties
across various fields of expertise. But it is not without its benefits, which
include: leading a small committed team of staff; working cooperatively with
a hardworking and informed Board; serving the interests of the members and
the broader Sydney community. It is job that if well done, can make a solid
and important contribution to the community.

Attached please find some material that will familiarize you with the SMSA,
its history and current operations. This material should assist you in preparing
your application. If you have further queries please do not hesitate to contact
me on 9262 7748 [mornings are best] or Roger.Morris@uts.edu.au

Once again thank you for your interest.

Kindest regards,

Dr Roger Morris AM
President
