Junior Professional Officer Knowledge Sharing 60% (m
Assisting our Knowledge Sharing Coordinator you will facilitate collaboration and spread our
partnership approach among our own collaborators abroad and in Zurich and with our part-
ners in the development community. You’ll apply, describe and support the use of different
facilitation methodologies and processes and thereby promote and animate increased ongo-
ing interaction. Furthermore, you will support capacity building in the areas of knowledge
sharing and learning by creating participatory tools such as video/audio files, story telling and
related manuals and descriptions. The third task includes services to third parties providing
learning materials such as modules and brochures, creating content for and maintaining net-
work websites, and assisting in facilitation and documentation of learning events (workshops,
A master’s degree in science, arts or business administration and a minimum of three years
experience in institutional learning or knowledge management and interaction with individu-
als and teams in different cultural contexts are important for this position. Professional ex-
perience or further education in international development is a great asset. You have didacti-
cal and facilitation competencies, are an experienced user of social networking tools (such
as blogs, wikis, Facebook, etc.) and apply MS office tools regularly. Your outgoing and en-
thusiastic manner inspires our teams and partners to foster collaboration. Excellent commu-
nication competencies in English, German and French and a very productive and independ-
ent but service oriented working style are a must.
