All staff receives background checks; most have First Aid and CPR training. Breakfast and lunch provided by the Summer Food Program, from 6/21 (starting with lunch) - 8/13. Afternoon snack provided by Fitness Fun & Games. Field trip transportation and admissions are included in fees. Average staff/child ratio is 1:9, average group size 12, except 2 & 3 year olds are 1:6, group size 12. Students who participate in FF&G programs from 6/21 – 8/6 will be given priority for the last two weeks of camp in August. Registration fees (non-refundable): $30, $20 for sibling, $10 for second sibling. Fees for ages 2 to 4: up to 10 hrs/day - $155/wk., OR $40/day (minimum 3 days/wk.) Fees for ages 5 to 14: $140/week* OR $40/day (minimum 3 days/wk.) OR $110/week (12:30 – 6 pm) Siblings: $120/week* OR $30/day (minimum 3 days/wk.) OR $85/week (12:30 – 6 pm) *$130/week, $110/wk (siblings) for weeks paid prior by 5/21/10 DSS vouchers are accepted. Sliding scale fees may be available. Community Center only: 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., $4/hour pre-paid. Two weeks payment is due 2 weeks before attending. Checks or money order payable to: Fitness Fun & Games. No refunds. Returned check fee: $40. Junior Leaders Program for ages 14 and 15, at the Community Center, $115/wk, Students earn $30/wk. in August. See separate flyer for details. Activities for preschool ages: Stories, arts & crafts, music, games, dramatic play, school readiness such as phonics, math, listening, coordination, social skills and character development, North Harford Playfield splashpad (Bethesda UMC) and weekly field trips. Activities for ages 5 – 14: daily KidzLit and KidsMath activities (academic enrichment activities), skating, sports, arts & crafts, music, cooking, games, drama, dance, science, weekly swim trips and weekly field trips. Community partnerships which help provide these comprehensive programs: Baltimore City Public Schools, North Harford Playfield, the Summer Food Program, YouthWorks, Enoch Pratt Summer Reading Program, 4-H Nutrition Education, and Baltimore City Recreation and Parks. To apply, complete the Summer Application form, and return to that location, with registration fee. Upon receipt of the application, you will receive further orientation information. Mid-day transportation may be available following BCPS summer school programs if 6 or more students are attending from the same school.
