How did you first get involved? A friend told me about camps and convinced me to go.
Who was most influential in getting you involved? My friend Ashley. He told me about all of his experiences and the fun he’d had

When was your first camp? My first camp was at Lake Proserpine in June 2008. I was really happy when my buddy started talking
to me and not only to all the boys on camp.
What is one aspect of ERC
that has had a big effect
on you? Realising that
these kids haven’t had any
opportunity to experience
many of the activities we
do on camp, even simple
things like craft and group
Why should someone
consider becoming an
ERC volunteer? It is a
great opportunity and
heaps of fun.
In what ways have you
grown as a person through
ERC? I have developed
better people skills and
learnt how to relate to

The canoeing was fun and
