Tree Risk Assessment
Tree defects and hazards are present in every community forest.
1. Can you recognize critical defects that lead to tree failures?
2. Do you have an inspection program in place to evaluate tree defects?
3. Do you know which tree species you should avoid planting to minimize
risk and potential hazards?
If you answered “no” to any of the above questions, you will benefit from
this half-day training.
Who Should Attend
The workshop is designed for public works employees, managers, tree
board members, arborists and others who are responsible for commu-
nity tree planting and management.
