Class Descriptions – Winter 2009
Body Strength: Want to get toned and build some lean muscle without going into the weight room? Then this class
is for you! You will use many different modalities such as tubing, stability balls, hand weights and
your own body weight to enhance your experience.
15/15/10: Cone on out and experience a total body workout in one class – 15 minutes of cardio – 15 minutes of
strength – 10 minutes of revitalizing stretching.
Cycle: Our cycle classes are limited to the first 10 participants. Each instructor has their own style of
Teaching, so come on out and try them all. The instructors will lead you through skills and drills
on the bike that will challenge you at your exercise level.

Yoga: These exceptional classes will help you escape from the stresses of daily life as well as help to increase your
flexibility and help your concentration. Come discover a new kind of strength.
Yoglates: This class is a mix of your two fav’s – Yoga and Pilates to give you the best of both worlds.
Triple Play: A 1.5 hour long class that incorporates ½ hour Hi/Lo – ½ hour Step – ½ hour Strength.
PowerFlex: PowerFlex works each muscle group for the length of one song so that by the end of the class the whole body has
Step it Up!: Good old basic step class to have you moving and grooving to your favourite moves!
Step & Pump: Take your favourite step moves and add some weights to get an awesome combination class for the entire body!
Step & Core: The name says it all. Class combines your favourite step moves with a blast of core exercises.
BootCamp: This class is a combination of muscle conditioning and cardio utilizing interval and circuit training. Come on out and
try one of the latest crazes!
Balance: Take a basic strength training class and add a balance challenge and you have a unique workout that challenges
parts of your body that you didn’t know needed to be challenged.
: Ditch the routine and join the party! ZUMBA is a cardio based workout that combines Latin and other
International music to create an interval training (fast and slow movements) that is both FUN and EASY TO DO!!
YogaChi: This class is a combination of Hatha Yoga style, infused with moving TaiChi.
& Core: Strength training for the lower half of your body including the core.
Chisel Upper: Strength training for the upper half of your body.
Latin Dance: Learn how to move like the dancers on Dancing With the Stars to all your fav dances.
Street Jazz Dance: Come join Lisa to learn some new funky dance moves that will have you movin and groovin your way to fitness in no
