Mom has invited all of your friends over for a
Pizza Party tonight!
She wants you to go and pick up the pizza from
Pesky’s Partial Pizza Parlor downtown.
You will need to get several kinds: Pepperoni,
Sausage, Mushroom, Cheese, Veggie, and
Supreme. The only problem is that Pesky is known
for cheating his customers. You’ll have to know
your fractions, if you want to get the best deal for
your money!
Below are three rules that will help you! Click on
the buttons to learn more.
After learning the rules,
Go to Pesky’s Partial Pizza
1 2 3 Parlor
Now that you have
learned these tricks, do
you think you can beat
Pesky at his own
game?
Pesky sells only parts of
pizzas, not whole ones!
He figures that if his
customers don’t know
their fractions, he can
make lots of money!
For each pizza you order, Pesky will offer you two
choices. These choices both cost the same, $1.00. You
have $6.00 to spend.
Your job is to decide which choice will give you the MOST
pizza. Keep track of how much pizza you’re getting.
If you forget any of the rules, click on the blue buttons to
remind you!
GOOD LUCK!
