Mom has invited all of your friends over for a
Pizza Party tonight!
She wants you to go and pick up the pizza from

Now that you have
learned these tricks, do
you think you can beat
Pesky at his own
game?
Pesky sells only parts of
pizzas, not whole ones!
He figures that if his
customers don’t know
their fractions, he can
make lots of money!
For each pizza you order, Pesky will offer you two
choices. These choices both cost the same, \$1.00. You
have \$6.00 to spend.
Your job is to decide which choice will give you the MOST
pizza. Keep track of how much pizza you’re getting.

numerators or
denominators,

Find a common
denominator, 4/7 1/5
then compare the A common denominator of 5 and 7 is 35.
fractions 4/7 x 5/5 = 20/35 and 1/5 x 7/7 =
7/35
