Job Announcement – Curatorial Assistant in Arachnology The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is seeking applicants for a three-year Curatorial Assistant (CA) position in the arachnology program. The position begins 15 May 2004 and ends 15 May 2007. The primary responsibilities of this individual are to assist in the curation and identification of arachnids housed in the DMNS collection. The individual will also be expected to help database the collection and to work with volunteers, associates and students who use the collection. The CA will report directly to Dr. Paula Cushing, Curator of Invertebrate Zoology. The position is a full time, fully benefited position with a starting base salary of $30,000 per year. Preference will be given to applicants who have arachnological research experience or experience identifying arachnids to species.
