Disconnect Switch.
Notes:
- If two knockouts are used on the Drum switch to
route conductors rather then one knockout then
the conductors coming from the disconnect

switch must be routed through one knockout

other opening must be routed to the motor to
Drum 3 Phase prevent inductive heating per NEC Article
Switch. R R R 300.3(B).
F Motor
T3 - Dress all wires so that cover may be installed and

so that the conductors are not rubbing on moving
parts as the switch is operated.
- Add ground wires to all boxes.
- Make sure that all the screws on all the parts used
for previous tasks have been retightened since
T2
electricians never leave loose screws that can
vibrate out and fall into something hot shorting
out and causing an arc blast.
Hook up all other motor leads
for low voltage as was done
on previous tasks.
