PEDESTRIAN      Pedestrian key switch or intercom button with normally

                This facility opens the gate partially for pedestrians.




INFRA RED       Beams normally closed contacts (N/C) are connected to
BEAM            PLG2 CONTROL Term.4( BM ) & Term.1( C )
                This prevents the gate closing on an object in its path.
                When closing, breaking the beam will make the gate stop
                and open. If not used, this must be shorted




GATE STATUS     An LED can be fitted inside the house for status

LOCK MOT1       Connect a 12V DC relay coil across PLG2 CONTROL
CONTROL :       Term.5( - to Z ) & Term.1( + to C )
RELAY           A drop-lock or mag-lock can be switched with the relay
SWITCHED        The relay contact rating must match the lock power

RELAY           The lock will activate 1 second before the motors start

   GATES          will close. When both gates are stopped on brackets and the
                  motors are slipping: Press & release (PROG/SET BUTTON):
                  buzzer will give one long beep.
                  Press & release (PROG/SET BUT.) Both Motors 1& 2 will
                  open. When open position reached press & release
                  (PROG/SET BUT.) gates will stop – Buzzer will give one long
                  beep.
                  Press & release (PROG/SET BUT.) Both Motors 1& 2 will
                  close. When closed position reached press & release
                  (PROG/SET BUT.) gates will stop – Buzzer will give one long
                  beep.



   AUTOCLOSE      SET (DIP) SWITCH 1 ON
   TIME FOR       Press & hold (PROG BUT.) - Buzzer beeps per second.
   BOTH           At required Auto-close time release (PROG/SET BUT.) –
   GATES          Buzzer will give one long beep.

              BUT.) gate will stop – Buzzer will give one long beep.

      1.       AUTOCLOSE (DIP 1 ON)
               This is the time the gate will stay open before auto-closing.
               NB! USE ONLY WITH INFRA-RED SAFETY BEAMS.


      2.       LOOP/CONDOMINIUM/FREE EXIT (DIP 2 ON)
           -   This mode is used for multiple user dwellings and its function is to prevent
               another user operating the gate while one user is in the process of driving
               through the gate.
           -   The gate can only be triggered to open by remote, button or free exit loop and
               not to stop or close.

      3.       DELAY TIME (DIP 3 ON)
           -   This is the delayed time MOT 2 starts opening after MOT 1
           -   On closing MOT 2 starts closing, followed after the delayed time MOT 1

      4.       LOCK CONTROL OUTPUT (DIP 4 ON)
           -   The lock will activate 1 second before MOT 1 activates, timed for 3 seconds
               after the gate starts opening after which it will deactivate.




                                              NB!
      Auto-close should only be used with an infra-red beam for
      safety so that the gate does not auto-close onto an object
                            unsupervised.

WARRANTY: All goods manufactured by G&C Electronics cc T/A E T Systems carry a 12 month
factory warranty from date of invoice. All goods are warranted to be free from faulty
components and manufacture. Faulty goods will be repaired or replaced at the                   sole discretion
of E T Systems, free of charge. This warranty is subject to the goods being returned to the
premises of ET Systems. The carriage of goods is for the customers account. This warranty is only
valid if the correct installation and application     of goods, as laid out in the applicable
documentation accompanying said goods, is adhered to. All warranty claims must be
accompanied by the original invoice.


RETURN OF GOODS: The return of goods for exchange or credit will only be valid for 30 days
from purchase date and, shall only take place by prior arrangement with authorized personnel
at E T Systems. E T Systems reserves the right to refuse the return of said goods or to levy a 10%
handling fee on goods correctly supplied. Credit will only validate          on the issue of an official E T
Systems credit note. All goods returned for credit or exchange will be subjected to a QA re               -
evaluation before being accepted. All returns must be accompanied by the original invoice.

Cheque, Electronic fund transfers or dir ect deposits: -
Bank guaranteed cheques will only be accepted by prior arrangement with management.
Electronic fund transfer is accepted, however goods purchased by either cheque or EFT will
only be released on clearance of funds into the G& C Electronics     bank account. (This can take
up to 14 working days in the case of cheques)
The above clearance approval will also apply to direct deposits whether cheque or cash.
