CFO Appointed at the Pinnacles

Craig Williams, Managing Director of Pinnacle Mines Pty
Ltd, located at Broken Hill, has appointed Tim Murton as
Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Pinnacle Mines is 100% privately owned, and in the process of a major mine expansion. "It was
time for the Pinnacles to 'step up' and bring in some management experience to help Pinnacles
achieve its strategic plans" said Craig.

Tim brings over 20 years experience in the financial and taxation consulting area to Pinnacles. He
is a Chartered Accountant and also a fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia. "It is going to be
terrific to spread the management roles with someone as experienced as Tim" said Craig.

Prior to the appointment, Tim was a Director with the Adelaide office of international accountancy
and advisory firm Grant Thornton, and was the external accountant for Pinnacles. Prior to working
with Grant Thornton, Tim also consulted on Pinnacles work as external advisor with the 'Big 4'
accounting firm KPMG.

"It's fantastic to be part of the Pinnacles expansion project" said Tim. "I'm looking forward to being
part of a team that can realise the full potential of what the resource has to offer."

Tim will be spending 50% of his time in Broken Hill, with the other 50% in the Pinnacle's Adelaide

Pinnacle Mines is located 15 km southwest of Broken Hill and was originally opened in 1884 as an
underground lead silver mine. Pinnacles is already in production with the Edwards Pit (lead silver
zinc) commencing in early 2007. A major mine expansion is underway, with an announcement of
the initial JORC compliant resource expected shortly.
