economics and aquaculture in Vietnam and in some other Asian developing countries, including the
partner countries Bangladesh, China and Sri Lanka, as well as Laos and Cambodia. Specifically to

lecturers, colleagues from Vietnam and partners from other Asian countries will participate in thesis
supervision to provide 20 masters per year with the best theoretical and empirical knowledge for thesis
research.

The program starts the autumn 2008 and accepts 20 students each year (about 10 Vietnamese, 10
international and a few Norwegian exchange students). The program is teaching-intensive, with
courses (comprising 90 study points) and an individual research project (30 study points).
