control data volumes, reduces the cost associated with storage management and quickly
producing evidence for compliance purposes. Through secure information sharing, Archive
Manager empowers organizations to access and leverage the knowledge locked up in e-mail,
for enterprises using Microsoft Exchange, Novell GroupWise and Lotus Notes.


                                    ASP.NET Developer
We are currently seeking an ASP.NET Developer (GUI) to join our Archive Manager
development team based in our Madison, WI office.

For this role, it is essential that we identify a highly talented, self-motivated ASP.NET
software developer who can complement the Archive Manager team with their UI skills, hit
the ground running and is able to contribute effectively.

Much of the forward-looking innovation for Archive Manager will occur around cutting edge
user-interface. This position will provide you with the opportunity to work on exciting and
ground-breaking user-experiences in partnership with our interaction-design team. If you
have strong ASP.NET skills now and want to work in Windows Presentation Foundation
(WPF) and Silverlight in the future, and if you thrive on solving challenging problems related
to user experience, and UI development using C# and .NET technologies, then this position
could be for you!

Core Responsibilities:
   • Work on development team to write, develop and maintain high-quality GUI com-
      ponents using ASP.NET and C# technologies for the Archive Manager product line;
   • Work and interact effectively with cross-functional product teams (Interaction
      Design, Product Management, Quality Control, Architecture, Server Development
      etc.,) for product development efforts;
   • Participate in development by actively writing code, conducting unit testing,
      performing design and code reviews;
   • Liaise with the interaction-design team providing technical feedback into the UI
      design process.
Core Attributes:
   •  A “can-do” and “win-win” attitude essential;
   •  Ability to work effectively and deliver results under tight deadlines;
   •  Desire to learn WPF;
   •  Ability to translate rich and thorough design blueprints into working code;
   •  Strong grasp of OO concepts and UI related design patterns.

Core Requirements:
      3+ years experience building ASPX GUIs using C#, XML/XSL and .NET technologies;
      2+ years experience building components of web-based n-tier applications;
      Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies - OSes, IDEs etc.,
      Working knowledge of iterative software development lifecycles and software
      development methodology/processes;
Desired Additional Requirements:
 Knowledge of messaging and directory platforms (Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes, Novell
GroupWise)
      Experience with software development methodologies, use of source code
      repositories, unit testing, test-driven development, refactoring;
Education
          BS in Computer Science or an engineering field.



                                 C#/SQL Developer

We are currently seeking a C# / SQL Developer to join our Archive Manager development
team, based in our Madison, WI office.

software developer who can complement the Archive Manager team with their .NET and SQL
programming skills, hit the ground running and be able to contribute effectively.

      using C#, .NET and SQL technologies for the Archive Manager product line;

Essential Technical Requirements:

      development methodology/processes;
   • Experience with software development methodologies, use of source code
      repositories, unit testing, test-driven development, refactoring;
Desired Additional Requirements:
   • Knowledge of messaging and directory API’s (MAPI, ADSI, Lotus Notes C API, Novell
      GroupWise API’s);
   • ASP.NET programming experience;
   • C++ skills;
   • Experience with InstallShield, Perl, DevPartner;
   • Interest and experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and
      Silverlight;
Education and Experience:
      Bachelor's Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent directly related
      working experience

                                        QA Tester

The QA Test Engineer (Windows Messaging) we seek to join our Archive Manager
product team will gain industry-related knowledge of the functionality and compatibility of
test methodologies, experience in writing and executing test plans and a sound
understanding of Microsoft Operating System architecture. This position is located in our
Madison, WI office.

Essential Technical Qualifications:
    Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems (Windows Server 2000/2003/XP);

        •   Experience with software testing
              and/or
        •   System administration experience with various Windows systems (Windows
            Server 2000/2003/XP) or a good working knowledge of Exchange 2000/2003;

Desired Technical Skills:
 Experience in test engineering including test planning, test case design and test execution
or demonstrated experience in systems administration including systems planning and
testing.
    • Virtual Machines and Microsoft Exchange;
    • Knowledge of other messaging systems (Lotus Notes and Novell GroupWise);
    • Automated test tools experience;
    • Ability to write testing applications in C++/C#;
    • Windows Batch Scripts ability, knowledge of PowerShell or other scripting languages;
    • Active Directory administration experience.

Core Responsibilities:
   • Work with other members of the Quality Assurance and Development teams to
      produce and maintain manual and automated test cases for Quest Archive Manager;
   •   Participate in product installations, lab infrastructure maintenance and system
       updating; all requiring experience with Windows based Operating systems and
       applications;
   •   Produce clear, timely, high-quality test results, both in verbal and written form.

Education:
 BS in a technical discipline or equivalent education and/or industry experience.
