                                                                       The library has new laptops for teaching computer skills.
                                                                       The laptops, equipped with Windows 7 and Microsoft
                                                                       Office 2007, were made possible by a grant from the Bill
                                                                       and Melinda Gates Foundation. The following classes are
                                                                       being offered this summer in the library’s meeting room. In
                                                                       person registration and a $5 non-refundable fee is required.

                                                 Registration begins Monday, June 7
                                                 The Youth Summer Reading Program is for children ages 3 through 8th grade.
                                                 Children are responsible for keeping track of the titles and points for books they
                                                 have checked out and read from the library in a book log. They can begin logging
                                                 in their books Monday, June 14.The book log should be checked once a week by
                                                 Youth Services staff. Weekly giveaways for reading include prizes, raffle tickets,
                                                 contest guess forms, and much more!
                                                 When a reading program participant has reached 5 points or more in their book log,
                                                 they can register for Make a Splash – Read! Events. Registration for these activities
                                                 begins Monday, June 14.
