From the Library Starting the First Sunday in June, until the end of August, the library will be closed for the summer. If anyone wants to get in the library, they can call the office, Loretta or Audrey. They will meet you at the church. A reminder to the people who have books taken out ITom last year, please let Loretta know if they want to return them or if they are still going to keep them. Thanks for your cooperation. Loretta Boldenow Chairman PW Women Council will be having a meeting today at 3:00 p.m. in the church parlor. New Summer Hours Our session has voted to go to a summer format June through August. Beginning Sunday, June 3rd, Sunday school will be at 9:00 a.m. and Worship services will be at 10:00 a.m. Adopt a Visitor In order to build a mendship with the visitors to our church, members are asked to sign up to "adopt" a visitor for a Sunday. This means you will greet the first time visitor and invite them to lunch then notify the church secretary that you did this. If you are single, you might want to ask another single person to buddy with you in the invitation. The bulletin will list your name as HostIHostess for that Sunday. There will be a sign up sheet on the table in the narthex. Thank you for your support of this step in growing the church. Choir Festival There will be a Choir Festival tonight at 6:00 p.m. at The First Methodist Church. Churches participating will be First Baptist, First Methodist and First Presbyterian. Everyone is invited to attend.
