Both locations are on state property. The new licensee will assume responsibility on or about April 30, 2007. This is an all vending single licensee facility that may require 1 part-time employee as a vending attendant/driver (i.e., driver/utility). Operator may need a vehicle for routine transport of snack and beverage items from the 400 East Campus View location to the 150 East Campus View location. This facility is located on state property, is non-smoking and is subject to Ohio Revised Code 3304.28. ORC 3304.28 requires that vending facilities on state governmental property which have employees must have no fewer than one-half of the facility employees be blind. Priority consideration will also be given to other qualified persons with disabilities to fill a position requiring vision. In the event employees will be required, a visually handicapped or blind person will be given priority consideration for employment. Equipment consists of: 1 AP 223 15 Select Coffee Machine, 3 AP Snack Machines, 3 Dixie Narco Cold Beverage Machines, 2 National Cold Food Machines, 1 Bill Changer, 6 Microwaves. Shelving units, Refrigerator and Freezer and office area with desk and file cabinet. Items sold consist of: Prepackaged snacks, candy, canned and bottled beverages, sandwiches, muffins, bagels, Danish, fruit cocktail, yogurt, cereal, various entrée’s milk and other items normally associated with vending machine food service. Storage: There is secure storage available at the 400 East Campus View location. Hours of operation: Normal business hours of operation are 7 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. Frequently Bureau of Disability Determination (BDD) Employees work past 5 PM and on Weekends. In addition, the 400 East Campus View location hosts all day Saturday meetings. Catering beverages and snacks is a frequent opportunity. Transportation: Public bus stop within walking distance or Taxi. Seating: 400 East Campus View approximately 20 tables and 80 chairs, 150 East Campus View has minimal seating. DRAFT Customers: Approximately 800 ORSC Employees at 400 East Campus View and 90 in the 150 East Campus View location. No transient traffic and a limited number of visitors. Competition: Other food establishments in close proximity some within walking distance. Financial Statement: The cafeteria was permanently closed December 5, 2006. Income listed reflects sales generated from the vending machines for the months of December 2006, January 2007, and February 2007. Comments: The vending location at 400 East Campus View will be remodeled this Spring/Summer. Vending Machines will be relocated and will include the addition of 1 frozen food machine and 1 Beverage Max to complete redevelopment plans. Approximate Initial Inventory Amount: $2,500.00 Opening Cash: It is recommended that whoever is awarded this location will be able to give assurance that they have or can obtain the necessary capital for opening cash in the amount of $1,000.00.
