Installing Livelink Explorer on a new users computer

       Log into the web browser version of Livelink; https://livelink.man.ac.uk/
       Select Enterprise – Livelink Explorer and follow the instructions for installation on
        screen.
       Once done go to Desktop and refresh if the Livelink icon has not appeared you might
        need to restart you computer)
       Click on Livelink (menu at top) and Options.
       You should get the following screen however there will be nothing in the white space.




       Click on Edit and you will get the following screen, which again will be missing the
        information – type in as below:
      Close Livelink Explorer down and open up again double clicking on livelink_bto on
       livelink.man.ac.uk.
      Select Enterprise Workspace> Project Unity> Unity IS Programme and then drill
       down to the required directory.


Set Up Alias

      To set up Alias’ go into the Web browser side and to the folder you wish to make an
       alias on.
      Click on the blue arrow beside the folder and choose ‘Make Alias’.
      Type in the name of the file – click on the grey browse livelink button against the
       ‘create in’ field.
      Make sure that ‘Livelink’ is selected from the drop down menu and then click select
       against the user login eg mwxssabc Home.
      This will ensure that when you log in on the web browser you will immediately go to
       your alias.
      In Livelink Explorer you will need to go through Livelink/Personal/Workspace, which
       will bring you to the alias you’ve set up (it saves you a couple of steps).
