Many people have multiple care professionals and
these people exist within many different databases.
They often move to different locations, may change
their name, or have any number of life changing events
happen to them. The goal is to track this individual
accurately, no matter what the circumstance may be.
The Department of Health has over 60 databases across the
department and we needed a way to ensure that
information is accurately tracked and not duplicated.

researched many software packages that provide CCD
We needed a solution that provided the same
architecture that Health is currently moving towards.

The Department of Health in Alaska has implemented the
MultiVue product successfully.
The Software provides:
Data Extraction, Transformation and Loading
Data Matching and Cleansing
Exposes the system via a web service (Standards-based)
MultiVue Uniquely Identifies a Person Across Disparate Systems
MultiVue Identification Server enables the unique identification of a person across disparate systems
within the organization, or even across organizational boundaries e.g. Social Care & Health. This is
achieved by searching for an individual using a variety of parameters to identify the person in
question. These parameters could be numeric identifiers or other attributes such as date of birth,
name, address, etc. .
MultiVue also enables the organization to create its own specific parameters for index searching. This
means that organizations can be selective about the parameters or attributes they search upon to
enable a single view of a person across multiple systems.
Searching Across Multiple Systems
Searches are passed through complex algorithms that have been specifically developed for MultiVue,
to enable close associations for individuals across the departmental datasets being searched.
A wide variety of parameters can be passed to the searching and matching algorithms, empowering
the organization to finely tune the expected results. MultiVue then enables activities to take place, for
example, merging of records, updating of information, deletion of unwanted records, cross indexing ,
providing a single trusted view of a person of property.

wide scale matching across the complete organization affordable today.
