							            Latino Health for All Mini-Grant Announcement

   Who’s eligible? All those working for the goals (i.e., healthy nutrition,
    physical activity, and access to health services) of the Latino Health for
    All Partnership are eligible for funding. Members of the Partnership’s
    Action Committees (healthy nutrition, physical activity, or access to health
    services) and members of the Latino Community are particularly
    encouraged to apply. To register for one of the Action Committees, please
    contact Dan Schober at dschober@ku.edu or (785) 864-0711.
    People/groups may submit applications during any or all years of the
    project.

   Typical Award Range: Award amounts will vary—for instance, from
    $1,000 to $10,000.

   Time-Frame: Funds will be distributed by the end of January 2009. The
    entire amount of the grant dollars are to be used between the months of
    January 2009 and December 2009.

   In what community should my proposed changes occur? The
    targeted area should be the Latino community living in the 66101 zip code.
    Additional zip codes maybe come part of the target in subsequent years.

   Where can I find the application? A copy of the mini-grant application
    will be sent via direct mail and email to all current members of the Latino
    Health for All Partnership. Applications can also be obtained from the
    Partnership website: http://kclatinohealth.org under “shared documents.”

   Due Date: All submissions of mini-grants must be received by December
