To our valued customers: In recent weeks Axiom has become aware of a number of rumors being circulated and we are well aware of their origin. Our normal response to this kind of activity is to ignore it and to remain focused on you, our valued customer. However in an effort to quell these activities, this letter is being distributed to address some of the issues. It is our hope that this letter will answer any questions you may have by presenting the facts, as we believe them to be. In the future, please do not hesitate to contact Axiom directly with your concerns.
The Dr. Hoane Proceeding
Competitors of Axiom are disseminating a Stipulated Consent Judgment against a California Chiropractor, Tony L. Hoang, in an attempt to discredit Axiom Worldwide. The Stipulated Consent Judgment against Dr. Hoang was unfortunate, but Axiom believes that it was avoidable. What our competitors fail to point out and never include when they transmit this document, is the fact that Dr. Hoang was not represented by counsel and that Axiom was not party to the proceeding. Axiom has been in contact with Dr. Hoang and will be in contact with the Monterey County District Attorney. It is our understanding that the Monterey County District Attorney requested that Dr. Hoang substantiate certain advertisements which he was using at the time. However, and for whatever reason, adequate substantiation was not submitted to the Monterey County District Attorney. Axiom has retained counsel in California to communicate directly with the Monterey County District Attorney and intends to address any and all reasonable concerns that the Monterey County District Attorney may have. In the event that any of these concerns warrant modification to information or materials disseminated directly by Axiom to its customers, such modification will be communicated immediately.

In the interim, Axiom believes it important to note that the information regarding the Dr. Hoang case is being used by Axiom's competitors in an obvious effort to damage Axiom's credibility and as an effort stop the momentum of success that has been achieved with the DRX9000 in providing an effective treatment for thousands of back pain patients. Regardless of any statements made by Axiom in its advertisements, the best evidence of what the DRX9000 can do for patients with back pain is revealed in the experiences of the patients themselves and the doctors caring for them. Your patients look to you for recommendations regarding treatments that can address their pain and improve their quality of life. We believe, as do you, that the DRX9000 has been an effective tool for treating back pain patients.
