Trina Solar Limited is a well recognized manufacturer of high quality photovoltaic modules and has a long history as
a solar PV pioneer since being founded in 1997 as a system installation company.

Trina Solar is currently one of the few PV manufacturers that has developed a vertically integrated business model
from the production of ingots, wafers and cells to the assembly of high quality modules. This integrated value chain
helps to continuously improve the production process throughout and ensure high quality products to our customers.

Trina Solar produces and commercializes a wide variety of PV modules, both monocrystalline and multicrystalline,
with power output ranging from 165W to 240W. Adapting our product range to meet market demands allows us to
provide our customers with a broader selection of solutions. Trina Solar had a production capacity of 350 MW at the
end of 2008.

Trina Solar has long-term partnerships with leading equipment suppliers in Switzerland, Italy and Germany, who
provide the latest technology for our production facilities. These partnerships are another quality guarantee for our
customers and enable us to continue to provide clean, reliable solar energy solutions for your future.

Trina Solar has received investment from a number of internationally recognized investors including Milestones
Capital and Merrill Lynch. These investments served as the starting point for the company’s internationalization and
were vital to ensure brand expansion. The listing in the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in December 2006 and
the subsequent capital increase in June 2007 allowed Trina Solar to successfully complete its expansion plans,
guarantee a rapid increase of production capacity and ensure procurement of raw materials.

At the same time, the listing in the NYSE and support of international investors has allowed the company to attract
talent from around the world and today Trina Solar has an international team of 12 different nationalities with
significant PV industry experience, who contribute each day to the success of the company.

Trina Solar’s increasingly global presence includes offices in Barcelona, Munich, Seoul, San Francisco and
Shanghai, as well as a team of local sales managers in every key country in Europe to provide our customers with
timely and professional service. In addition to this, Trina Solar also offers after sales technical service support to
