                                            RYNITE® thermoplastic polyester resin
                                                 (flame retardant grades)

no arsenic (As), barium (Ba), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (CrVI), lead (Pb), mercury
(Hg), selenium (Se), or compounds thereof are added.

To the best of our knowledge, our raw material suppliers do not use the above substances in
the manufacture of their products. However, we do not routinely analyse our films for the
above substances nor do we require our raw material suppliers to do so.

Therefore we are confident that, if present at all, the levels of cadmium (Cd), hexavalent
chromium (CrVI), lead (Pb) and mercury (Hg) are below the 1994 CONEG guide-lines of 100
ppm, the limits of the European Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste Directive) of 100 ppm
as well as the European Directive 2000/53/EC (ELV)+ – 100 ppm/1000 ppm of unintended
trace levels and the European Directives 2002/95/EC (RoHS) / 2002/96/EC (WEEE) of
1000 ppm.

Antimony (Sb) compounds are added as part of the flame retardant system. Please consult the
Safety Data Sheet for the amounts present.
pigments in coloured grades may contain traces of cobalt (Co), copper (Cu), manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn).
For other substances relevant to this Directive, please consult the European Safets Data Sheets, secton 15.
