    PROCEDURE FOR STARTING / STOPPING FUEL OIL PURIFIER
      MODEL NO SJ100GH

      NO:1 IS USED ONLY FOR H.O PURIFICATION
      NO:2 CAN BE USED FOR BOTH H.O AND D.O PURIFICATION
      BEFORE STARTING , MAKE SURE THE VALVES ARE SET ACCORDINGLY
      CHECK GEAR CASE OIL LEVEL AND BRAKE IS IN DISENGAGED POSITION


STARTING

1     SET THE POWER SWITCHES OF STARTER ,AUTOMATIC CONTROL PANEL &
      MULTIMONITOR TO 'ON' IN ORDER
2     SET 'MM' FUNCTION SWITCH ON THE CONTROL PANEL TO 'OFF', THEN SET
       'LM ALARM OUTPUT' SWITCH IN THE MM TO 'OFF'
3     PRESS THE START BUTTON ON THE STARTER TO START UP THE PURIFIER
      AFTER ATTAINING THE RATED RPM ,(CAN BE ACHIEVED IN 5 TO 10 MINS
      AFTER START UP) THE AMPERAGE WILL BE STEADY AT 20-22 AMPS
4     OPEN STEAM FOR OIL HEATER AND SET TEMP TO 98* C
5     OPEN THE FRESH WATER INLET VALVE FOR PURIFIER
6     PRESS "AUTO START" PUSH BUTTON ON THE AUTOMATIC CONTROL PANEL
7     ONCE THE FEEDING STARTS CHECK THE BACK PRESSURE AND FEED
      RATED (L/HR) DISPLAYED ON THE MM
      ** MAINTAINED FEED - 5000 L/HR
         BACKPRESSURE - 0.148 to 0.154 Mpa
      FEED CAN BE ADJUSTED BY THROTTLING THE FLOW CONTROL
       VALVES( V 17 for NO.1 and V 18 for NO.2 )
      BACK PRESSURE CAN BE ADJUSTED BY THROTTLING THE PURIFIER OUTLET V/V
      ( FE-V 21 for NO.1 and FE-V 22 for NO.2)
8      AFTER APPROX 5 MINS CHECK AGAIN THE FEED RATE AND BACK PRESSURE
      IF THE BACK PR IS WITHIN ±15% OF THE SET PRESSURE( 0.154 MPa ) , THE
      YELLOW LED ON TOP OF THE MM STARTS FLASHING & CHANGES TO
      CONTINOUS LIGHTING WHEN IT IS WITHIN ± 3%
9     ADJUST CIRCULATION LINE PRESSURE TO 0.12 MPa THROUGH THE CIRCULATION
      LINE BACK PRESSURE V/V
10    CHANGE THE 'MM FUNCTION' SWITCH ON THE CONTROL PANEL, FROM
      OFF' TO 'ON' AND SET 'LM ALARM OUTPUT' SWITCH IN MM TO 'ON'
      CHECK "WD OUTPUT" SWITCH &"DD ALARM OUTPUT" SWITCH IN MM IS "ON"

     STOPPING


1 BEFORE STOPPING ,DESLUDGE THE PURIFIER ATLEAST TWICE BY PRESSING
  THE "DISCHARGE TEST" BUTTON
2 AFTER DESLUDGING TWICE DEPRESS THE 'AUTO STOP' PUSH BUTTON ON
  THE AUTOMATIC CONTROL PANEL
3 REDUCE THE STEAM SETTING IN THE CONTROLLER & THEN SHUT STEAM INLET
  AND RETURN V/V'S OF THE HEATER
4 ONCE THE PURIFIER STOPS COMPLETELY , SHUT THE FEED LIQUID INLET
  V/V TO PURIFIER &SLUDGE OUTLET V/V TO SLUDGE TANK
5 SET THE POWER SWITCHES OF MM,AUTOMATIC CONTROL PANEL & STARTER
  TO "OFF" IN ORDER
6 SHUT THE FW INLET TO PURIFIER




ACTION AFTER ALARM

1 WHEN ALARM COMES , THE PURIFIER WILL STOP WITHOUT DESLUDGING
2 ALARM INDICATION WILL BE THERE IN THE AUTOMATIS CONTROL PANEL
  & THE REASON FOR ALARM WILL BE INDICATED BY THE ALARM NOS
  01.02.03 IN THE OPERATIONAL DISPLAY PANEL
                     01 - OIL LEAK - LM
                     02 - NO BOWL OPENING - DD
                     03 - WATER DETECTION - WD
3 PRESS 'ALARM RESET' & RESTART THE PURIFIER BY THE FOLLOWING
  PROCEDURE (STEPS 3 - 10)

      MODEL NO SJ 50 G



      BEFORE STARTING , MAKE SURE THE VALVES ARE SET ACCORDINGLY
      CHECK GEAR CASE OIL LEVEL AND BRAKE IS IN DISENGAGED POSITION


STARTING

1     SET THE POWER SWITCHES OF STARTER ,AUTOMATIC CONTROL PANEL &
      MULTIMONITOR TO 'ON' IN ORDER
2     SET 'MM' FUNCTION SWITCH ON THE CONTROL PANEL TO 'OFF', THEN SET
       'LM ALARM OUTPUT' SWITCH IN THE MM TO 'OFF'
      START LUB OIL PFR FEED PUMP NO .1 OR NO.2
3     PRESS THE START BUTTON ON THE STARTER TO START UP THE PURIFIER

     STOPPING


1 BEFORE STOPPING ,DESLUDGE THE PURIFIER ATLEAST TWICE BY PRESSING
