If supplying original documents, please ensure that you also submit photocopies of
these documents. All documents provided must be in English or attach official English
translation to any documents not in English.

You must submit the following documents for application:

1. A properly completed and signed Transit Visa Application form (INZ 1019).

2. Original or certified copy of your passport or travel document.

3. One recent passport size photograph.

4. Application fee is to be paid in Singapore Dollars. Payment can be made by credit card
   (Visa or Mastercard), bank draft made payable to Immigration New Zealand or cash if
   submitting application in person. The fee is NON-REFUNDABLE regardless of the outcome
   of your application.

5. Evidence of your immigration status in the country where you are currently residing, if it is
   not your country of citizenship (e.g. work permit, student permit, permanent residence, etc).

6. Original or certified copy of the relevant visa to enter your destination country, if you are
   required to apply for one.

7. A confirmed travel itinerary or air ticket providing relevant arrival and departure times.

8. A statement of the purpose of the journey to the country of destination

9. Evidence of previous travels (if any).

10. For Holiday Purpose
    Letter from Employer: Your letter of leave should be on the company letter head stating the
    position you hold, your length of employment with the company, monthly salary and period
    of leave granted.
    Letter from School: Your letter of leave should be on the school letter head stating your
    student status, the course you are attending, start and end date of your course and period of
    leave granted.

11. For Business Purpose
You should provide:
   A letter from your employer confirming your business trip to the country of destination. This
    letter should indicate whether or not your expenses will be paid for by your employer.
   A letter of invitation from a business associate in the country of destination.

Processing Time

For Maldives & Seychelles nationals:
Standard processing time is 5 -10 working days. It may take longer if we need extra information
or documents require verification.

For other nationals currently residing in Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Maldives & Seychelles
Processing time may take up to12 weeks or longer, depending on the need for additional
information and/or verification.

Endorsement of your Transit Visa

Upon approval of your application, you may come in person with your passport to have your
visa endorsed or send your original passport to this office and include a courier fee for the
return of your passport. The courier fee payable in Singapore Dollars is as follows:
