Accounting • Assists in the year-end closing process; • Reviews and reconciles cash and account balances; assists in the development of new procedures as needed. 2. Client Support/Communication • Researches financial record keeping issues and takes appropriate action; provides clients information in both oral and written form; • Resolves problems and complaints and refers clients to appropriate resources as necessary. 5. Research/ Reporting • Researches and analyzes data to identify, troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies and client inquiries; • Reviews grant letters, funding and entitlement reports; analyzes and reconciles outstanding balances; • Analyzes various state and district reports to compile statistical data; III / Job specification financial analyst 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required. 2. Minimum of 3 years experience in reporting, consolidation and financial analysis. Experience in retail/food & beverage industry a plus. 3. Accounting/GAAP knowledge. 4. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel & Access). 5.
