The Third Annual National Walk for Epilepsy will bring the epilepsy community together to demonstrate camaraderie, strength and success. Over the span of two years, the National Walk for Epilepsy has raised more than $2 million and engaged more than 13,000 people across the country. Special guests include, event chairperson Greg Grunberg of NBC's "Heroes," Alan Faneca of the New York Jets, and Jason Snelling of the Atlanta Falcons. The National Walk for Epilepsy will be hosted by the Epilepsy Foundation, with financial support from Ortho-McNeil Neurologics�, Division of Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. people who cannot make it to the Mall can still support the event by sponsoring a participant or becoming virtual walkers and fundraising for the cause. By walking in their own community on the day of the National Walk for Epilepsy, virtual walkers help demonstrate their commitment to those impacted by epilepsy.

Greg Grunberg Greg Grunberg stars in the hit NBC ensemble series, “Heroes,” playing the mind-reading Matt Parkman. He has also starred on “Felicity” and “Alias,” and has guest-starred on “House” and “Lost.” Greg and his wife Elizabeth have three children. Their oldest son, Jake, has epilepsy. Greg has been a long-time advocate for epilepsy awareness, education, and fund-raising, in Los Angeles for the Pediatric Epilepsy Project at UCLA and on the national level for the Epilepsy Foundation, serving as spokesperson for the annual National Walk for Epilepsy. Greg’s charitable commitment to the cause also includes aligning part of the fund-raising efforts of his celebrity band, Band from TV, to support epilepsy.
